WHO AM I

KasanTea began from a simple idea:

Some of the most memorable teas I found in Japan were not always the most internationally famous ones.

Rather than building a large catalogue, I prefer to keep the project intentionally small and seasonal, selecting unknown teas I personally enjoy and want to share abroad.

Origin is not enough

Origin is only a starting point, not a guarantee of quality.

I select teas based on taste, structure and drinkability rather than just reputation.

Japan’s tea landscape is too diverse to reduce to names: many of the most interesting expressions come from lesser known types, cultivars and producers.
